Youth Seminars in Marilla

Highlights of the two days
  1. On the way to Youth Seminars the boys in the car reccorded the "Danny Show"(If you don't know what it is it is rather hard to explain it)
  2. Mark Shaw had his first session with us. At first we thought that he wouldn't be as upbeat as the previous speakers. Boy were we wrong! I've never seen so much energy packed a pastor.
  3. Pranks at the Mitzel's got a little out of control. It all started when Jordan put toothpaste on everyone's face. "'Vengance is mine,' says the Lord. Did we listen? Nope,we put whipped cream in Jordan's shoes! Jordan then put whipped cream on Sean's glasses. Then, I stole Jordan's hat. Eventually, everyone was satisfied with themselves and we stopped.
  4. Saturday morning our church was called up for a contest. They wanted 5 people who could chug. And so Jordan,Sean,Jacquelyn,Micheal, and Danny went up. At first it was neck and neck. Then,Jordan turned on the pumps. We finished first and won a cooler. Cool!
  5. Workshops were awesome!! I can't exactly explain all of what I learned in this post, but I learned a lot. The thing that stuck out the most was what Pastor Green said in Workshop#4(Passion for People). "You are the only Bible some people will ever read." It is awesome to see God teach and train you and your friends.
  6. The people at Marilla were throwing prizes out. One went so high it smashed a light blub and then hit Jenny on the head! Ouch!

And that's what happened at youth seminars!

What do you mean by, "I've never seen so much energy packed a pastor."...HUH? Is that supposed to mean that pastors are all a bunch of boring globs? ...well...not quite that bad...sorry PM...no offense and all...ummm...yeah....i'll stop here...

Sounds like everyone one had a great time at the seminars. And best of all came back with stuff to think about! So glad you wrote about your time there :-).
Hope the "settling-in" is going well. Look forward to keeping up with you here.
